Sales Engineer

NowSecure is looking for a Sales Engineer to support our revenue groth in a pre-sales technical role, focused on our Mobile Security solutions. Our Sales Engineers are responsible for working externally with prospective clients, and internally with our Product and Sales team. You will provide technical and functional expertise and interact directly with new and existing federal customers in a sales capacity. Your performance will have direct impact on the overall Sales Team’s effectiveness. It's an opportunity to help build and shape our team!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical sales support in a fast paced environment.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with IT decision makers within assigned accounts.
  • Perform technical presentations and demos for customers, partners and prospects.
  • Communicate highly technical concepts enthusiastically to a variety of audiences, including executive level technical decision-makers, and follow up with technical staff in all areas.
  • Set up demonstrations and explain features and benefits to customers and prospects.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services.
  • Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
  • Provide customer feedback to product management on feature enhancement requests, and product bugs to support teams and other relevant teams as needed.
  • Provide updates to customers on requested features, bug fixes and product roadmaps.
  • Understand relevant  industry based policies as they pertain to mobile, PCI, HIPAA, NIST or DISA SRGs.

Position Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge and experience with a wide variety of IT technologies and security solutions.
  • A strong, successful pre-sales engineering track record (5+ years) in mobile or security industry with  large enterprise customers (Federal experience is a plus).
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with a wide variety of IT technologies and security solutions.

  • Advanced, in-depth, mobile security understanding and design expertise.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member.
  • Experience in a start-up environment a plus.
