YOUR OPPORTUNITY

This role requires a deep grasp of systems and networking and a strong background in application deployment technologies, scripting and application engineering support. Our DevOps team is responsible for building infrastructure tools, automating the system/application deployment pipeline, and working with development teams to help engineer scalable software. A DevOps role is critical in ensuring the smooth operations and service delivery of the NowSecure high volume, big data driven infrastructure and applications.

  • We are leading in cutting edge mobile security and sponsor a number of open source tools such as Radare (https://github.com/radare/radare2) and Frida (https://github.com/frida/) that are widely used by security researchers.

  • We build our software using polyglot languages and best of breed frameworks and tools


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR SUCCESS:

  • 3+ years experience working in SaaS based software development working with multiple open source projects and frameworks to deliver intricate & scalable product solutions
  • Kubernetes design and administrative experience
  • Experience with a CI/CD tools, preferably GitLab
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as DataDog
  • Extensive experience working with git source control
  • Develop event driven enterprise ready product with focus on scalability and security
  • Experience managing and maintaining highly scalable and available network services and APIs, particularly with distributed, evented, or highly-parallel systems
  • Experience working with AWS
  • Experience designing and deploying Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or Cloudformation
  • Experience with a programming language such as Python or Golang. 
  • Strong sense of follow through and a preference for working in a dynamic startup environment where everyday offers new challenges
  • Work in a distributed fast paced environment

AND, BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THIS: 

  • Experiencing managing Kubernetes with Rancher
  • Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Developer, or DevOps Engineer
  • Experience implementing and managing AWS EKS clusters.
  • Experience with SAML/OpenID/OAuth2 using Auth0
  • Experience managing a relational database such as PostgreSQL
  • Experience with building secure systems
  • Encryption and other security fundamentals
  • Open-source contributions and participation
