YOUR OPPORTUNITY As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for helping the HR (People & Culture) team deliver an employee experience that aligns with our company's vision, mission, and business goals. You will play a key role in helping to drive operational success across the People & Culture team, providing front-line support to our team members; while also helping to provide a quality in person experience at our Vienna, VA office. This position requires hybrid work flexibility to support necessary office needs, with a minimum of 2 days onsite weekly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Human Resources General (People & Culture) Administration: 

  • Lead the Onboarding Process for new hires. 
  • Assist team with semi-annual Performance Review Planning, Communication, and Execution 
  • Work with Privacy & Risk Team to lead P&C requirements for Soc2 Audits 
  • Lead administrative offboarding requirements for all terminations  - seeing the process through from start to completion 
  • Maintains data integrity of HRIS system (BambooHR) 
  • Assist with other projects and or reporting needs as assigned 
  • Assists team with year-round execution of employee engagement initiatives 

Benefits Administration: 

  • Serve as the front line support for general benefits questions from New Hires, existing Team Members, and or former employees - escalating complex questions to immediate supervisor where appropriate
  • Assist in communicating plan changes during Open Enrollment for plan participants
  • Research and respond to internal and external benefit inquiries.
  • Ongoing administration for ACA
  • Assist with various projects and assignments to continuously improve benefits administration efficiencies.
  • Maintain data integrity of benefits administrative system 
  • Work in partnership with Payroll team to ensure benefit deductions/ changes are correctly reported 
  • Assist with other projects as assigned

Office Management: 

  • Responsible for tracking and maintaining office supply inventory (technical supplies along with food/snacks)
  • Greet clients and visitors in the office
  • Help organize Office activities when necessary
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
  • Arrange Fedex/UPS shipments for company and other internal requests
  • Assist with other projects as assigned

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Previous experience working with an HRIS system highly preferable 
  • Previous benefits administration experience highly preferable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency with Google Applications (slides, worksheets and presentations)
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations and information with absolute discretion
  • Ability to take initiative to organize and complete project with minimal supervision 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; attention to detail

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • The salary band for this position ranges is competitive and commensurate with experience and performance. This position will be eligible for a competitive annual bonus and equity package.
